Shaping an idea / concept

Stage 1
Collect and Select
Use images and words or phrases to determine an idea, theme
Collect – open mind – subconscious
1.       Select – edit – three grouping – general ideas
2.       Revisit – Collect – add to collections
3.       Verbalize – add words to each collection


Stage 2
Develop the idea / mood
Using colour, texture, patterns, lines and brushes
1.       Use three colours to create a colour scheme
2.       Determine the mood of colours dark /light, bright/subdue etc.
3.       Lines determine sight lines – static dynamic
4.       Textures, patterns, brushes help to create rhythm

  • Open Mind – it means that you go not edit
  • More is better – more images
  • It may not fit my idea – doesn't matter
  • Do not worry about file size
  • Allow for equal value of each image
Allow for ADD

Posting Images
 

  • Check resolution dpi (dots per inch)
  • 72 dpi for blogger (typically internet photos are at 72 dpi)
  • Make sure it's the "color space" is RGB (red, green, blue)
  • Has to be in the mode JPEG file type

I don't have much experience with graphic designs. I have used picnik before, not so much the adobe photoshop. In grade 7 I was in a computer class, we did some projects there, I don't quite remember them. I have pictures on facebook that i have edited before.

2. Areas of Interest
-What do I want to learn?



I like to edit some photos, but I would really like to learn how to layers pictures. And I would like to learn more about photoshop since I haven't had alot of experience with it.

3. Interest Areas Are?

-I love listening to music, any type. I also love playing soccer! That is my favorite sport. And I am definatly into photography and would like to become better!
